Brighten your cold days with this easy, colorful winter fruit salad. It features seasonal citrus, crisp apples, and pomegranate, all tossed in a zesty honey-lime dressing. This recipe is a refreshing, healthy side dish or light dessert perfect for holiday gatherings or quick snacks.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large navel oranges, peeled and segmented
  • 2 clementines, peeled and halved
  • 1 cup pomegranate arils
  • 2 crisp apples (like Honeycrisp or Fuji), cored and diced
  • 2 ripe kiwis, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup red or green grapes, halved
  • For the Dressing:
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest

Instructions

  1. Prepare the fruit: Peel and segment the oranges, peel and halve the clementines, dice the apples, slice the kiwis, and halve the grapes. Place all prepared fruit into a large mixing bowl.
  2. Make the honey-lime dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together the fresh lime juice, honey, and lime zest until the honey is fully dissolved.
  3. Combine: Pour the dressing over the fruit mixture. Gently toss the fruit until everything is lightly coated.
  4. Add pomegranate: Fold in the pomegranate arils last to keep their color bright.
  5. Serve immediately or chill: You can serve this refreshing fruit salad right away, or cover and chill it in the refrigerator for up to 2 hours before serving at your brunch or holiday meal.

Notes

  • For an extra festive look, use a mix of red and green grapes.
  • If you want a slightly different flavor, substitute the honey with maple syrup for a vegan option.
  • This salad is a great healthy winter side dish that pairs well with heavier holiday meals.
