- 2 pounds beef chuck, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 bell peppers, chopped
- 2 (15 ounce) cans diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 (15 ounce) can black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Optional toppings: shredded cheese, sour cream, chopped cilantro
- Place beef, onion, and bell peppers in your slow cooker.
- Add diced tomatoes, kidney beans, black beans, and tomato sauce.
- Stir in chili powder, cumin, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours, or on high for 4-5 hours.
- Serve hot with your favorite toppings.
Notes
- You can adjust the chili powder and other spices to your preference.
- If you like a thicker chili, you can remove the lid for the last hour of cooking.
