Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 9 cups Crispix cereal
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 tablespoon milk

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.
  3. Stir in pumpkin pie spice and vanilla extract.
  4. Add Crispix cereal to the chocolate mixture and stir gently until evenly coated.
  5. In a large bowl or a gallon-sized resealable bag, combine powdered sugar, pumpkin puree, and milk. Mix until smooth.
  6. Add the coated cereal to the pumpkin mixture and toss until evenly coated.
  7. Spread the coated cereal in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Let it set for at least 1 hour, or until firm. Break apart any clumps.

Notes

  • For a stronger pumpkin flavor, add an extra 1/4 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice.
  • You can substitute any similar crisp cereal for Crispix.
  • Ensure the pumpkin puree is well-drained to avoid a soggy snack mix.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
