Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped pecans, toasted
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Add the powdered sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt. Beat until the mixture is fully combined and creamy.
  3. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly into a shallow serving dish.
  4. Drizzle the caramel sauce over the top of the dip.
  5. Sprinkle the toasted, chopped pecans over the caramel layer.
  6. Chill the dip for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  7. Serve cold with graham crackers, apple slices, or vanilla wafers.

Notes

  • Toast the pecans lightly in a dry skillet over medium heat for 3-5 minutes until fragrant. Let them cool before chopping and using.
  • You can make this dip up to one day ahead. Cover and refrigerate. Add the topping just before serving for the best texture.
  • For a richer flavor, use dark brown sugar instead of light brown sugar.
