Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter and granulated sugar.
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, 1/2 cup flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Stir in 1/2 cup of the chopped pecans.
  7. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
