  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 3 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 cup M&M’s candies

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract and peanut butter until well combined.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Stir in the rolled oats, chocolate chips, and M&M’s candies until evenly distributed.
  • Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving about 2 inches between cookies.
  • Bake for 9-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the centers are still slightly soft.
  • Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • For chewier cookies, slightly underbake them.
