Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped pickled jalapeños
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the crescent dough and press the seams together to form a rectangle.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped jalapeños, chives, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent roll rectangle, leaving a small border.
  5. Starting from one of the longer sides, tightly roll up the dough.
  6. Slice the roll into 1/2-inch thick pinwheels.
  7. Place the pinwheels on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between them.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  9. Let them cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For extra spice, use fresh jalapeños instead of pickled.
  • You can add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the cream cheese mixture for more heat.
  • These pinwheels are best served warm.
