Make this quick and easy honey butter skillet corn. This side dish cooks fast and features a sweet and savory glaze perfect for any meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups fresh or frozen corn kernels
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the corn kernels to the skillet. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the corn is tender and slightly browned.
  3. Stir in the honey, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1 more minute until the glaze thickens slightly.
  4. Remove the skillet from the heat. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • If using frozen corn, do not thaw before cooking; add a few extra minutes to the cooking time.
  • For a slight kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper with the salt and pepper.
  • You can substitute maple syrup for honey if desired.
