You need this incredibly creamy, dreamy Strawberry Cheesecake Dip for your next party. Skip the oven; this recipe is ready in minutes and tastes just like classic cheesecake filling.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream, cold
  • 1 cup chopped fresh strawberries
  • 1/4 cup strawberry preserves or jam (optional, for swirl)

Instructions

  1. Place the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract into a large mixing bowl. Beat with an electric mixer until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed.
  2. In a separate, clean bowl, whip the cold heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form. This creates the light, fluffy texture you want.
  3. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture using a spatula until just combined. Do not overmix, or you will deflate the air from the whipped cream.
  4. Fold in the chopped fresh strawberries. If you want a swirl effect, reserve about 1/4 cup of the mixture, then gently swirl in the strawberry preserves into the main dip mixture.
  5. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl. Chill for at least 15 minutes before serving, although it is ready to eat immediately if you are in a rush.
  6. Serve this easy dessert dip with graham crackers, pretzels, vanilla wafers, or fresh fruit like extra strawberries.

Notes

  • For the best results, make sure your cream cheese is fully softened to room temperature before starting.
  • If you want a thicker dip, you can substitute half of the heavy whipping cream with 4 ounces of thawed, drained frozen whipped topping.
  • This dip is excellent for potlucks and game days because it travels well when kept cool.
