Fun and easy pepperoni pizza pinwheels, perfect for a family snack or party appetizer. These pinwheels bring the classic pizza flavor into a bite-sized treat that kids and adults will love.

  • 1 can (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
  • 1/4 cup pizza sauce or marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup mini pepperoni slices

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the crescent dinner roll dough and press the seams together to form a rectangle.
  3. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border along the edges.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  5. Arrange the mini pepperoni slices evenly over the cheese.
  6. Starting from one of the longer sides, tightly roll up the dough.
  7. Cut the roll into 1-inch thick pinwheels.
  8. Place the pinwheels cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  10. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add a sprinkle of garlic powder or Italian seasoning before baking.
  • If you don’t have mini pepperoni, you can cut larger pepperoni slices into smaller pieces.
  • These are best served warm.
