Ingredients
Scale
4 boneless pork chops (about 3/4 inch thick)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
Pat the pork chops completely dry with paper towels. This helps achieve crispiness.
In a shallow dish, mix the flour, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
In a second shallow dish, place the beaten eggs.
In a third shallow dish, place the panko breadcrumbs.
Dredge each pork chop first in the flour mixture, shaking off excess. Dip into the egg, letting excess drip off. Coat thoroughly in the panko breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (195°C) for 5 minutes.
Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the breaded pork chops in a single layer in the basket, ensuring they do not overlap. You may need to cook in batches.
Air fry for 10 to 12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) and the coating is golden brown and crisp.
While the chops finish cooking, prepare the garlic butter. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley.
Once the pork chops are cooked, immediately brush or spoon the garlic butter mixture evenly over the top of each chop.
Serve immediately.
Notes
For the crispiest results, use panko breadcrumbs instead of regular breadcrumbs.
Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket; cook in batches if necessary to allow air to circulate fully.
Use pork chops that are uniform in thickness for even cooking.
