  • 1/2 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs

  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 jar (24 ounces) marinara sauce
  • 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, Italian seasoned breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, milk, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
  3. Roll the mixture into meatballs, about 1-inch in diameter.
  4. Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Brown the meatballs on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
  6. Pour the marinara sauce over the meatballs in the skillet.
  7. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce and meatballs.
  8. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
