A simple recipe for a hot, creamy, and cheesy baked dip featuring shredded chicken and buffalo sauce, perfect for serving at gatherings.

  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup cooked, shredded chicken
  • 1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing or blue cheese dressing
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1/4 cup blue cheese crumbles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease an 8×8 inch baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, and ranch or blue cheese dressing. Mix until fully combined.
  3. Stir in 3/4 cup of the shredded cheddar cheese and the blue cheese crumbles, if using.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup of shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
  6. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the dip is heated through and the cheese on top is melted and lightly browned.
  7. Let the dip cool for 5 minutes before serving hot.

Notes

  • Serve this dip with tortilla chips, celery sticks, carrot sticks, or sturdy crackers for dipping.
  • For a spicier dip, increase the amount of buffalo sauce or add a dash of hot sauce.
  • To make this recipe in a slow cooker, combine all ingredients (except the top layer of cheese), place in the slow cooker, top with cheese, and cook on low for 2 hours or high for 1 hour, stirring halfway through.
