Whip up these irresistible bacon-wrapped jalapeño poppers for your next party. They’re cheesy, spicy, and always a hit!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 large jalapeño peppers
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh chives
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 12 slices bacon, cut in half

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, chives, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  4. Spoon the cheese mixture into each jalapeño half.
  5. Wrap each stuffed jalapeño half with a piece of bacon. Secure with a toothpick if needed.
  6. Place the wrapped jalapeños on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the jalapeños are tender.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For milder poppers, remove all seeds and membranes from the jalapeños.
  • For extra spice, leave some seeds in.
  • You can make these ahead of time and refrigerate them before baking.
  • Serve with a side of ranch dressing or sour cream for dipping.
