Ingredients
Scale
1 pound salmon fillet, skin removed and cut into 1-inch cubes
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
1 tablespoon Sriracha sauce (adjust to your spice preference)
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
Pat the salmon cubes dry with paper towels. Toss the cubes gently with olive oil, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl.
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
Place the seasoned salmon cubes in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd; cook in batches if necessary.
Air fry for 8 to 10 minutes, flipping the cubes halfway through, until the salmon is opaque and slightly crispy on the outside.
While the salmon cooks, prepare the sauce. In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, lemon juice, and garlic powder until smooth.
Remove the cooked salmon bites from the air fryer.
Toss the hot salmon bites in about half of the Bang Bang sauce, or drizzle the sauce over the top before serving.
Serve immediately over rice or with a side of steamed vegetables.
Notes
For extra crispiness, lightly dust the salmon cubes with a small amount of cornstarch before adding the oil.
You can substitute Greek yogurt for half of the mayonnaise in the sauce for a lighter option.
If you prefer a thicker sauce, chill it for 10 minutes before serving.
