Make a quick, healthy ranch dip using Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise or sour cream. This recipe takes under five minutes to assemble.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (full fat or 2%)
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1-2 tablespoons milk or water (for thinning)

Instructions

  1. Place the Greek yogurt in a small mixing bowl.
  2. Add the dried parsley, dill, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the yogurt.
  3. Pour in the lemon juice.
  4. Stir all ingredients together until they are fully combined and the spices are evenly distributed.
  5. Add milk or water, one tablespoon at a time, stirring until you reach your desired dipping consistency.
  6. Serve immediately or chill for 15 minutes for flavors to meld.

Notes

  • For a stronger ranch flavor, use 1/2 teaspoon of a pre-made dry ranch seasoning mix instead of individual spices.
  • If you prefer a thicker dip, omit the added milk or water.
  • This dip pairs well with fresh vegetables, pita chips, or crackers.
